Tamils for Obama Searching for Consensus re Sri Lankan Civil War

Tamils for Obama is conducting an internet opinion poll to find a consensus view among Tamils of how to end the bloody Sri Lankan civil war. They are especially concerned with the constitutional ending of the war. That is, what kind of government will the island have at the war’s end? They are also asking what kind of action the new U.S. Administration should take to help end the war. Tamils for Obama explains that in the democratic world, they think that Tamils should decide their future. It is not, they believe, a matter for the Sri Lankan Singhalese government and military to dictate.
